Everything about this poem was interesting! The poem is called Keeping Things Whole, but the lines and stanzas are broken up and not whole at all. I think what he’s saying is how everything keeps going on, even after things happen. That’s the meaning I got from it, like how he says the air fills in where he was a moment ago. It’s comforting to know that things will always work themselves out like in this poem.
